Preverbal Trauma Training for Parents/Carers (Nov 2025)

When you’re caring for an adopted child, fostering, or supporting a child as a special guardian, you may sometimes hear people say things like: “They were adopted as a baby, so they’ll be fine!” It’s natural to wonder how a child could have experienced trauma if they were removed from birth or very early on. We know this isn’t the whole story. This training session is designed to help you understand why early experiences still matter, and how they can affect children and young people as they grow.
